3D presentations and outcomes
3D color presentations for a new house before constructing:
Because the house was not built, there were no photo references to see the architectural style, exterior walls, roofs, etc. I asked my client to provide the floor plan and exterior elevation. I reproduced the 3D rendering and applied colors. By showing the colors on the entire exterior walls, my client could envision the outcome rather than seeing color swatches.

The colors were chosen based on the client's feng shui astrology. I also showed how colors would harmonize with neighboring houses.

Beauty Salon Exterior walls 3D presentation
The name of the beauty salon is Boston Cutters and is located in the heart of Hawthorne Blvd, Portland Oregon. The owner, Karin, wanted the exterior color more appealing than the existing color, rusty red. Since Karin related "cutter" as hair cut and as an old sailing ship, I researched Boston's famous ship "Old Ironsides" and found the ship's colors black, white, and red.

Black is the ship's hull, a white strip encompasses the ship's cannon portholes and a red strip is at the lower part of the hull. The Salon's black square windows in a row would be the cannon portholes on the ship.

In Feng Shui, black is strong determination. We also know black is chic and cosmopolitan. Red is prosperity and happiness for the successful business of the salon. White implies cleanliness and honesty.

Private Home 1: Before, the bed was pushed to the wall. A half of the head of the bed was under the window that has a thin, lacy curtain.

Feng shui prefers the head is protected by a solid wall. I changed the bed position so that the head is against the long wall. Now, the head is protected by the wall. From this postion, a person in bed can see the outside view. A space between the bed and the wall with the window makes Chi flows freely.

Private Home 2: Previously, the bed was placed against the wall that divides the bedroom and bathroom. The bed position was "bad feng shui" because a toilet plumbing pipe draws "chi" away. The bed position was changed so that the head of the bed was not against the wall of the bathroom.

I changed the bed position to under the window. Placing a bed under a window is not good feng shui either because when you sleep you need a solid protection such as a wall. Feng shui cures this situation by creating a wall like protection. Fortunate enough, the windows are covered by heavy duty Roman blinds that act like a solid wall.
